Studies show that social media users check their feeds an average of 150 times per day.
Research by Deloitte (2022) found smartphone users check their devices approximately 96 times per day on average, not 150.
Why: The 150-times figure was an exaggeration of the Deloitte finding, which measured device unlocks rather than feed-specific checks. Source
